SATO Corporation Appoints New Executive Vice President & COO

Singapore, December 13, 2010– SATO, a pioneer in the Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) industry and a leader in barcode printing, labelling, and EPC/RFID solutions announced the appointment of Kaz Matsuyama as Executive Vice President & COO – International Business of SATO Corporation with effect from December 3, 2010.
This addition of Kaz to the currently two-man Representative Director team is to realise a solid organisational structure, enabling agile business strategy focused on the global expansion and growth. Kaz has held sales, marketing and management roles of increasing responsibility in the SATO Group. His exceptional experience, passion for success and strong leadership makes him one of the ideal leaders for SATO to carry out the next stage of the Group’s development.
