SATO announces establishment of new sales subsidiary in Benelux region

April 01, 2010 - SATO, a pioneer in the Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) industry and a leader in barcode printing, labelling, and EPC/RFID solutions announced the establishment of SATO BENELUX B.V., its latest sales subsidiary outside of Japan, in Netherlands, Europe. The new company is commencing operations on April 1, 2010.
The establishment of SATO BENELUX will enable the organisation to strengthen and expand SATO’s presence in the region and position it to provide more timely support customers and partners. The growing market demand combined with the organization’s continuing commitment to working closely with customers have naturally led to the creation of this new company, which will exclusively engage in sales and service operations for the Benelux region.
The new company will involve conversion of the SATO Labelling Solutions Europe GmbH – Benelux Branch into a wholly-owned SATO subsidiary.

With our increased presence there, we are well positioned to capitalize on the growth opportunities,” said Bart van Achterberg, the new Managing Director of SATO BENELUX. Bart has been the Country Manager for the Benelux Branch for the past 4 years. He has more than 12 years of experience in the AIDC industry.
